An image recording device receives real-time image data from a network camera and records the received data in a disc bank. When a network is recovered after a temporary network failure occurs, a backup region is secured in the bank, with the size of the backup region in correspondence to the size of image data recorded by the network camera during the network failure. Then, real-time image data is continuously recorded in a region after the backup region, and image data recorded in the network camera is recorded in the backup region. |
