When a recognition unit (710A) receives, from a power reception sensor, a detection result to the effect that an external charging device has started to charge a battery, the recognition unit recognizes that the user of a vehicle (CR) is in a state where he/she can hear a verification sound. Then, the recognition unit (710A) sends this recognition result to a control unit (740A). If a first condition that the vehicle (CR) is in a stopped state and that the control unit (740A) has received the recognition report is satisfied, the control unit (740A) executes a control to output the verification sound. At the time of outputting the verification sound, if the power feed mode is "wired power feeding," the control unit (740A) executes, from immediately after charging has started, a control to output the verification sound over a first predetermined time. If the power feed mode is "wireless power feeding," then, after a predetermined time has elapsed from when charging was started, the control unit (740A) executes the control to output the verification sound over said first predetermined time. Thus, the normality of resources for outputting a warning sound to the outside of the vehicle can be verified with a simple configuration. |
