PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device including a high-reliability feedback path.SOLUTION: The motor drive device includes: a microcontroller including a control section by which a motor control signal is generated and encoded into an error-correcting code, an output section which transmits the encoded control signal and an analog voltage measuring section for measuring a voltage inputted to an analog voltage input terminal; a driver interface including a transmission error detection circuit by which the encoded control signal is received and decoded and an error is detected, a temperature measuring resistor which indicates a change of a resistance value in accordance with a temperature and of which one end is connected to an analog input terminal, a monitor signal generation circuit which generates a voltage for transmitting the detection of the error to the microcontroller at the analog voltage input terminal, and a motor driver for driving a motor in accordance with the decoded control signal; and current supply means by which a current is made flow to the temperature measuring resistor and a voltage corresponding to a resistance value of the temperature measuring resistor is generated at the analog voltage input terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
