The present invention discloses a display device capable of voice recognition and a control method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the display device includes: a display module displaying one or more icons disposed in a predetermined sequence; a sensing module sensing an action to enter a voice command mode; and a controller extracting a text corresponding to the displayed icons. The controller displays the extracted text and controls the displayed icons to be executed when a voice command corresponding to the displayed text is recognized.
