The invention provides greater ability to withstand mechanical damage and also greater protection against electrostatic damage to a light emitting diode crystal. In addition, heat transfer is provided and the temperature of the light emitting diodes is stabilized as a result of direct contact between a component and the body of a light emitting diode, thus causing a 3-5-fold increase in the useful life of a video screen.
