PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection screen and manufacturing method of the projection screen that can improve a contrast of a video image and a luminance gain value thereof.SOLUTION: A translucent substrate 110 comprises a first surface 112 and a second surface 114 that face each other, and has a microlens structure 120 in the first surface 112 and a Fresnel structure 130 in the second surface 114. Further, the translucent substrate has a ray-of-light absorption unit 140 to be connected to the Fresnel structure 130, and furthermore, a dispersion reflection layer 150 has a plurality of dispersed dispersion reflection units 152, which is connected to the Fresnel structure 130, and corresponds to a plurality of microlens structures 120, respectively. Then, a projection screen and a manufacturing method of the projection screen are configured such that a deviation degree of the plurality of dispersion reflection units 152 relative to a plurality of optical axes A of the plurality of microlens structures 120 increases due to increase in an inclination rate of an inclination face of the Fresnel structure 130 relative to the optical axes. |
