In a virtual engine sound apparatus for generating an engine sound of a vehicle virtually, the present invention relates to the virtual engine sound apparatus, which includes: a front end module (FEM) installed in front of the vehicle; a bumper beam installed in front of the FEM; and a sound output part which is installed with a horn to warn a dangerous state during traveling, and outputs the virtual engine sound by being installed between the bumper beam and the FEM. The sound output part comprises: a front cover where a hollow part is formed, and a rear cover which is installed with a speaker unit through the hollow part and is combined at a rear of the front cover. And the speaker unit of the front cover is covered with a speaker cover, and the horn is installed at both sides of the speaker cover. As the virtual engine sound apparatus is moved to the front from a side of a vehicle body, the speaker unit can be increased and at the same time sound pressure performance is improved according to position change to meet a sound pressure criterion of a changed law. And the virtual engine sound apparatus can improve assembly and convenience in installing the virtual engine sound apparatus in the FEM according as the horn is installed in the sound output part, as compared to the prior inconvenience that the sound output part and the horn have to be installed respectively. |
