Provided is a stent system (10), comprising a catheter (12) further comprising a balloon (20), and a stent (14) which is installed upon the exterior circumference part of the balloon (20). The outer face of the balloon (20) and the inner face of the stent (14) have respectively reformed surfaces, and adhesion between the outer face and the inner face is increased by the reformed surfaces making contact with one another. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the stent system (10), comprising a surface processing step of, by conducting a surface process upon each of the outer face of the balloon (20) and the inner face of the stent (14), reforming so as to improve adhesion between the outer face and the inner face. |
