The invention relates to a set of calibration standards for use in a method of quantifying the concentration of tin, copper and zinc compounds in anti-fouling paints with a portable XRF instrument. Further disclosed is a method for manufacturing the set of calibration standards as well as their use in a method of quantifying the concentration of tin, copper and zinc compounds in anti-fouling paints with a portable XRF instrument.
