PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which is superior in usability, capable of notifying the user that a multi-organization program is broadcast in a channel under viewing and listening, in addition, of notifying that the multi-organization program is broadcast in the selected channel, and further, of seamlessly switching the multi-organization program to a multi-organization program which is desired of viewing and listened to by the user. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver (100) of digital broadcast corresponding to multi-organization service is provided with an acquisition part (174) which acquires program information on the digital broadcast; a channel selection part (110) which selects a channel of the digital broadcast; a receiving part (ANT) which receives broadcast waves of the selected channel; a determination part (172) which determines whether the broadcast waves to be received become multi-organization within first threshold time, based on the acquired program information; and a notification control part (160), which performs control so as to notify that the broadcast waves to be received become the multi-organization, when it is determined that the broadcast waves to be received become the multi-organization within the first threshold time.
