A piston head for gasoline direct Injection engine is provided to increase concentration of mixer in the neighboring of the spark plug. A piston head for gasoline direct Injection engine comprises a bowl which is formed in the upper side of the piston head along the injection direction(A1) of an injector. Seen from a plan view of the piston head, both lateral sides of the bowl form symmetrically circular arc in relation to a central line(L1) passing through the center(C1) of the piston head along the direction of the injector. The bowl comprises a floor side(13a) having an angle(theta1) which becomes gradually profound; and a inner peripheral surface(13b) connecting the upper side of the piston head and floor side.
