A toner composition for electrostatic image development, and its preparation method are provided to narrow the distribution of particle size, to improve low temperature fixation and to simplify the manufacturing process. A toner composition comprises a monomer for the formation of a binder resin, a colorant, a dispersion stabilizer, a charge control agent, a wax, a polar resin, or a polar monomer. The preparation method of the toner composition comprises the steps of preparing an inorganic dispersing medium; dispersing and dissolving a polymerizable monomer mixture; atomizing the dispersed and dissolved solution to the inorganic dispersing medium with a high shear stress to make a droplet; radical polymerizing the droplet; cohering the polymerized particle; welding the cohered one by heat; washing and drying the prepared toner; and adding an external additive to the toner. |
