摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a specific pattern which can prevent ink from flowing to positions except an intended position when forming a light-shielding layer on a peripheral part of a display area by ink jetting after formation of a coloring layer.

SOLUTION: A damming part 40 comprises: a first support part 40a composed of a first coloring layer formed on a substrate; a second support part 40b composed of a second coloring layer formed on the first support part 40a and having a concavity 41; and a third support part 40c composed of a third coloring layer formed on the concavity 41. A light-shielding layer is formed between a display area and the damming part by ink jetting.
