<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of determining safety of prescription for multiple prescribed drugs to an identical patient and of prescribing appropriate prescription drugs for the patient. <P>SOLUTION: A processor generates prescription information including patient identification information and prescription drug information for a patient based on input data, and transmits the prescription information to a server corresponding to a pharmacy designated by the patient. The server preliminarily stores medication history information for each patient and drug information about drugs unsuitable for combination use. When receiving the prescription information from the processor, the server determines whether the prescription of prescribed drug designated by the prescription information is appropriate or not based on the medication history information and the drug information corresponding to the patient identification information included in the prescription information. When determining that the prescription is not appropriate, the server transmits a request to correct the prescription information to the processor; and when determining that the prescription is appropriate, registers the medication history information based on the prescription information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
