<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly fix a heater wire to a sealer base without using a glass cloth tape or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The impulse sealing apparatus 10 includes the heater wire 12 both ends of which are fixed to the sealer base 11. A recess 16a formed at a predetermined position on a heater wire-mounting surface of the sealer base. The heater wire is arranged to be laid along the recess, and a pressing member 17 is inserted into the recess from above the heater wire to fix it.
