The present invention relates to a lighting system and, more specifically, to a lighting system which can project the light of a light source to the inside of a danger zone through an optical cable, wherein the light source is installed outside. According to the present invention, the lighting system comprises: a light source part placed in a non-explosive safety zone and generating light; one or more lighting units arranged in an explosive danger zone in series, totally reflecting the light delivered from the light source part, and emitting the light to the outside; and a light transmission unit circulating the light through the light source part and the lighting units, and returning the light to the light source part.
