<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire that exhibits high wet performance and steering stability even in consideration of reduction in rolling resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire 10 includes an inclined surface 120 which has a groove depth becoming deeper toward the inside in the tread width direction and a groove width becoming narrow in a tire peripheral direction, and an inclined surface 170 which has a groove depth becoming deeper toward the outside in the tread width direction and a groove width becoming narrow in the tire peripheral direction. An end at the tread width direction on the outside in the inclined surface 120 is contiguous to a land portion 110, while an end at the tread width direction on the inside in the inclined surface 120 extends toward a peripheral direction groove 22 along an end in the tire peripheral direction of the land portion 160.
