<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the inclination of a photosensitive member in a lateral direction by providing horizontal deflecting means for simultaneously deflecting a plurality of electron beams in perpendicular directions and vertical deflecting means for simultaneously deflecting the beams in moving direction. CONSTITUTION:When a plurality of electron beams are deflected by deflecting electrodes 107, 109a, 109b to be scanned in a predetermined scanning width on a fluorescent member 112, the entire width of the member 112 corresponding to the lateral direction of the photosensitive member emits lights. The member 112 is turned ON and OFF by controlling the voltage to be applied to a signal modulating electrode 105 by a modulator 106, thereby regulating the passage quantity of the beams. The energizing position of the member 112 is selected by controlling the voltage to be applied to the horizontal deflection electrode 107 by a deflection angle control circuit 108, setting the horizontal deflection angle of the beam to a desired angle, simultaneously controlling the voltages to be applied to the vertical deflection electrodes 109a, 109b by an emitting position control circuit 110, and setting the vertical deflection angle to a desired angle.</p> |
