PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron type golf club head which is superior in resilience improvement of the golf club head and reducing effect of a back spin amount of a golf ball.SOLUTION: An iron type golf club head has a body part and a hosel part continuing to the body part. A front surface of the body part is a face surface 2f. A lower part of the body part is a projecting part 4 swelling rearward. A slit 5 penetrating vertically the projection part 4 is provided and an elastic body 6 is arranged only in an upper part of the slit 5. |
