PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of breaking characteristics and current carrying characteristics in one vacuum valve.SOLUTION: A vacuum valve comprises: a stationary side current-carrying shaft 4; a stationary side current-carrying contact point 5 fastened to a stationary side current-carrying shaft 4 end; a stationary side magnetic field generation electrode 7 fixed to the stationary side current-carrying shaft 4; a stationary side breaking contact point 8 fastened to a stationary side magnetic field generation electrode 7 end; a movable side current-carrying contact point 9 being brought into contact with and being separated from the stationary side current-carrying contact point 5; a movable side current-carrying shaft 10 being freely movable and fastening the movable side current-carrying contact point 9; a movable side breaking contact point 13 being brought into contact with and being separated from the stationary side breaking contact point 8; a movable side magnetic field generation electrode 12 being freely movable and fastening the movable side breaking contact point 13; and a flexible connection conductor 17 connecting the movable side current-carrying shaft 10 and the movable side magnetic field generation electrode 12. The movable side current-carrying contact point 9 opens earlier than the movable side breaking contact point 13 at the time of an open circuit, and the movable side breaking contact point 13 is brought into contact therewith earlier than the movable side current-carrying contact point 9 at the time of a close circuit. |
