The present invention relates to a composition for discriminating the fertility of bovine spermatozoa by using a protein biomarker related to spermatozoa freezing stress, and a method for discriminating the fertility of spermatozoa by using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition including a spermatozoa protein marker and a method for discriminating the fertility of bovine spermatozoa according to stress occurring during a freezing step by using the same. A step of freezing and storing spermatozoa extracted from a bovine epididymis is divided into a state before freezing, a state in which a temperature is lowered after adding a freezing preservative, and a state in which freezing and thawing are performed. The spermatozoa protein marker discovered by and included in the composition has a difference in expression specifically to one of the states. A biomarker related to freezing stress according to the present invention confirms fertility of spermatozoa by analyzing a protein differently expressed under freezing stress. By means of the biomarker, fertility of spermatozoa is predicted, and spermatozoa of an entity having high fertility may be easily sorted. Thus, the biomarker may be very useful in promoting the stable production of excellent animals. The composition according to the present invention includes a material for detecting a gene coding a marker for discriminating spermatozoa freezing stress or mRNA or a protein of the gene.
