The present invention relates to a method for providing an automatic tax refund service to a foreign card user by a tax refund service relay server. The method for providing an automatic tax refund service according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: receiving an automatic tax refund service subscription request including passport information of a foreign card user and card information of the foreign card; recognizing the card information of the foreign card in response to a payment request through the foreign card, and receiving sales information of the foreign card from a merchant terminal which has checked whether the foreign card is subscribed to the automatic tax refund service based on foreign card information; and generating automatic tax refund service use history information for each foreign card information based on the sales information, and transmitting the same to a tax refund company server.
