PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expired air detector capable of reducing time until expired air reaches a gas sensor element, and suppressing adhesion of dew condensation water and saliva to the gas sensor element.SOLUTION: An expired air sensor 1 comprises: an expired air introduction hole 21; an expired air channel 23; an opening 37; a filter 15; and a gas sensor element 11, these components are arranged on one straight line in the order. Out of expired air introduced from the expired air introduction hole 21, a progress pathway of the expired air reaching to the gas sensor element 11 is a straight line state, therefore, time until the expired air reaches to the gas sensor element 11 can be reduced, compared with an expired air sensor in which a progress pathway of the expired air is folded. The expired air sensor 1 comprises a first exhaust port 35a, second exhaust port 35b, and exhaust channel 27, therefore dew condensation water and saliva accumulated in a proximate area of the opening 37 in the expired air channel 23, are exhausted outside of a housing 13. Therefore, clog of the filter 15 can be suppressed, and the expired air can reach the gas sensor element 11 easily. |
