PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support or mounting systems for holding various types of equipment in a subsea environment, such as electronics or instrument modules associated with oil production installations, subsea communication systems, subsea pumping stations, and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a modular subsea equipment assembly including a modular base frame 12 and a plurality of modular superstructure devices 10A for selective attachment to the modular base frame for supporting various components and for attachment to underwater cables. The modular base frame includes a frame peripheral part 46 that forms an outer periphery of the base frame, and a plurality of cross bars 48 that extend between opposite portions of the frame peripheral parts in one or more directions. The frame member and cross bars has at least upper surfaces each having a plurality of connection points for attaching selected modular devices of the assembly to the base frame in a plurality of different possible configurations. |
