<p>Basic slag initially containing up to 1 molecule of SiO2 for each molecule of P2O5 is converted to a form in which the content of phosphoric acid is almost wholly soluble in ammoniacal solution of ammonium citrate by enriching the melt with silica, so that substantially more than 1 molecule of SiO2 is present for each molecule of P2O5, and cooling rapidly, e.g. by letting it flow into water.</p> |
