According to an embodiment of the present invention, an intrusion detection apparatus can comprise: an RF sensor unit detecting movement of an individual in a first area including a predetermined area outside and inside a vehicle by using an RF signal; an ultrasonic sensor unit defined to be a predetermined area inside the vehicle by using an ultrasonic signal and detecting movement of an individual in a second area of which at least a portion overlaps with the first area; and a control unit driving the ultrasonic sensor unit in case of detecting movement of an individual in the first area by means of the RF sensor unit, and determining whether there is an intrusion into the vehicle based on a detection result of the ultrasonic sensor unit.
