PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid softening agent composition exhibiting excellent flexibility even with using a quaternary ammonium salt having a fatty acid ester structure and capable of flavoring flavor in a microcapsule perfume even under the condition that physical stimulation is not applied when using the microcapsule perfume.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid softening agent composition containing (A) a specific quaternary ammonium salt containing a compound having a fatty ester structure under a specific condition of 5 mass% to 20 mass%, (B) specific pentaerythritol fatty acid ester containing a compound having a fatty acid ester structure under the specific condition of 0.5 mass% to 10 mass%, and water.
