PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of a transmission which can make substantially constant a capacity of a fastening hydraulic chamber at the time of moving a clearance adjusting piston, and can form a smaller fastening hydraulic chamber, in the brake device of the transmission having a fastening piston and the clearance adjusting piston.SOLUTION: In a brake device 80 of a transmission in which a fastening piston 85 and a clearance adjusting piston 86 are arranged at one side of a friction plate set 81 in an axial direction, a fastening hydraulic chamber 90 is formed of a bulged part 85c which is bulged to the friction plate set 81 side of the fastening piston 85, and a bulged part 86c which is fit into the bulged part 85c and bulged to the friction plate set 81 side of the clearance adjusting piston 86. |
