<p>A method of adjusting a windshield (70) comprises: grasping the windshield (70) disposed in an initial position; actuating an actuation arm (58) of a windshield adjusting system (10) to disengage a lock profile (52, 62) defined on a latch (50) from a position profile (14) defined on a rail (12); moving the windshield (70) relative to a rail (12) connected to the vehicle to an adjusted position; and releasing the actuation arm (58) to engage the lock profile (52, 62) and the position profile (14) and thereby secure the windshield (70) in the adjusted position. A method of installing a windshield adjustment system (10) onto a vehicle comprises: attaching a rail (12) to the vehicle, the rail (12) comprising a position profile (14); actuating an actuation arm (58) of a latch (50) of a bracket (30) on the windshield adjusting system (10); positioning the bracket (30) relative to the rail (12) in a desired position by engaging an alignment portion (32) of the bracket to the position profile (14); and releasing the actuation arm (58) to engage a lock profile(52, 62) of the latch (50) to the position profile (14) such that the bracket (30) is secured to the rail (12).</p> |
