An aluminum clad material is manufactured in a manner such that a laminate is formed by stacking a joining assisting member (6) such that the joining assisting member is located at a joining interface between an Al core material (2) and an Al skin material(4), the joining assisting member having a structure in which dot-shaped thick parts (10) with a thickness of 0.2-3.2 mm configured from crossing parts of vertical lines and horizontal lines are vertically and horizontally arranged at intervals of 0.2-13 mm, the crossing parts being obtained by using Al wire rods (8) as the vertical lines and the horizontal lines and crossing the vertical lines and the horizontal lines in a grid pattern, and the laminate is hot-rolled in a state where the joining interface communicates with the atmosphere while the outer peripheral parts of the Al core material (2), the joining assisting member (6), and the Al skin material (4) are partially secured or are not secured. |
