PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image during an observation in an operator's favorite color without complicated work. SOLUTION: A processor includes a reference value retaining means for retaining a reference value of an output level of each color component of a color image signal, an output level sensing means for sensing an output level of each color component of a video signal, a comparing means for comparing the sensed output level of each color component and the reference value, and an output level adjusting means for adjusting the output level of the video signal from the result of the comparison.
