PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reducing structure which enables a reduction in the number of materials for use and the shortening of a construction period by dispensing with the construction of an earth retaining wall etc. , and which can effectively reduce vibrations by using minimum necessary members. SOLUTION: This vibration reducing structure 10, which is equipped with an interception surface 15 for intercepting the vibrations V propagating through ground G, so as to reduce the vibrations V, is characterized as follows: the interception surface 15a and the like are composed of a plurality of columnar bodies 10a and the like, which are arranged in line; the columnar bodies 10a and the like are arranged at a predetermined angle of inclination in a vertical direction in the ground G; and the columnar bodies adjacent to each other are arranged at a predetermined interval.
