FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering, particularly, to devices that convert the wind power into electrical power or some other power types. The proposed segment-type windmill comprises fixed frame, bearing assemblies, windwheels with blades and rotor elements, magnetic cores, excitation source and working coils. The triangular frame has three columns mounted at its angles. The bearing assemblies are fitted at two angles of the frame, while magnetic cores are mounted at the third angle. Windwheels running in bearings are arranged at an angle. The windwheel blades feature symmetric profile, while magnetic cores represent trapezoid with lateral sides facing the working gaps. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability, simple design, possibility of exploiting various-direction wind power without whatever orienting devices. ^ 2 dwg |
