<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal recognizing device enabling a user to securely recognize that an electronic component is illegally replaced or removed. <P>SOLUTION: This removal recognizing device 10 is provided with a resistance value sensor 11 attached to the electronic component, a CPU 12 determining whether the electronic component is removed from the removal recognizing device 10 or not based on resistance values outputted from the resistance value sensor 11, a memory part 13 storing the results of determination of the CPU 12, and a communication part 14 for transmitting the results of determination of the CPU 12 to a reader-writer. This removal recognizing device 10 is an active device driven by receiving supply of electric power from its own power supply part 16.
