PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track-like or an elliptical damper having a major and a minor diameter direction, and a speaker using the same, distributing a stress concentrated to a specific portion of a support-movable part, balancing contradictory performances such as a linearity securement of an amplitude displacement to a small input signal and an amplitude limitation to a large input signal, further suppressing a rolling, having a symmetry performance of a vertical amplitude, and hardly generating distortion and abnormal noise. SOLUTION: An inner or outer circumference of the damper is an oval shape having major and minor diameter directions, and an annularly continuing mountain part or valley part of corrugation of support-variable part is regulated by an annular curve similar shape to oval with the oval shape transformed so as to form a concave part narrow in the middle in the minor diameter direction of the oval shape.
