PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for cooling a control board, even if a rear cabinet is made small. SOLUTION: A recess 30 is formed in a rear part of the rear cabinet 3. A main board 13, a power source board 14, and an inverter board 15 are stored in the recess 30, and the rear cabinet 3 is designed, without securing a space for cooling the main board 13, power source board 14, and inverter board 15 inside the rear cabinet 3, thereby miniaturizing the rear cabinet 3. A fluorescent tube, a speaker 16, and a fixing member 15 that are conventionally disposed in a backlight chassis are disposed in the rear cabinet 3; the backlight chassis is reduced; and the display device can be reduced in weight and then miniaturized.
