A RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A receptacle connector and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent an unnecessary part from being plated by gold on a contact of the receptacle connector. CONSTITUTION: A contact(120) is electrically connected to a printed circuit board and a plug connector. The contact gives and takes an electrical signal with the printed circuit board and the plug connector. An insulation housing(110) receives the contact to fix it. The contact comprises an electrical contact part and a non contact part. The electrical contact part is plated by gold.
