PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating performance of an active headrest with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Perforations 34 are formed at places near outside part of an upper part 30B of a headrest support 30 at an outer peripheral part 18B of a headrest stay insertion hole 40 of a seatback front cover 18 to constitute a weakened part 18C. When a tension more than a predetermined value acts on the outer peripheral part 18B of the headrest stay insertion hole 40 formed at the seatback front cover 18, the weakened part 18C of the seatback front cover 18 is easily broken along the perforations 34, resulting in that a headrest body 16 can be moved up in a rapid manner without being prohibited against its upward motion by the seatback front cover 18.
