PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, that is high in durability while maintaining high specific conductivity.SOLUTION: The electrolytic solution for the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is prepared by dissolving an electrolyte (C) consisting of a cation (A) as tertiary ammonium (A1) and/or amidinium (A2) and a carboxylate anion (B) in an organic solvent (D), the organic solvent (D) containing an organic solvent (D1) which does not have a hydroxyl group, an organic solvent (D2) which has a hydroxyl group, and an additive (E), and a ratio of (D2) to (D) being 0.5 to 10 wt.%. Here, the additive (E) is a compound obtained by alkyl (C1-4) etherification of at least one hydroxyl of the compound obtained by adding ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide by 0.5 to 5 mol on an average to C1-4 monool or divalent to trivalent polyol. |
