PURPOSE: A ship having a watertight device for preventing flooding of a lower cargo hold is provided to satisfy damage restoring performance of new regulations regardless of data or special devices, and to increase flexibility of an opening part and a structural reinforcement. CONSTITUTION: A ship having a watertight device(1) for preventing flooding of a lower cargo hold comprises a fixed or movable lamp(2), a lamp cover(3), a control stand(4), a hinge(5), a cylinder(6), a rubber packing(7), and clips(8). The fixed or movable lamp is installed under a bulkhead deck. The watertight device is installed in the fixed or movable lamp arranged throughout at least two watertight sections. The lamp cover is installed in the bulkhead to cover the fixed or movable lamp. The control stand controls ascending and descending of the watertight device. The hinge is installed at the bottom of the watertight device and rotates around a shaft in case that the watertight device is driven by a motor. The cylinder stably ascends and descends the watertight device in case that the watertight device rotates around hinges(6a,6b).
