OPTICAL SYSTEM AND IMAGING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system which adjusts resolution and field multiplicity so as to obtain an image of a subject having desired resolution and parallax information, and to provide an imaging apparatus comprising the optical system.

SOLUTION: The optical system relating to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a field control unit which light enters; a compound-eye optical device comprising plural optical devices which the light having passed through the field control unit enters; and an imaging device which receives the light having passed through the field control unit and the compound-eye optical device. The field multiplicity of the adjacent optical devices is variable.
