<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of allowing a user to view a wide image smoothly continued between liquid crystal display panels by dividing image data of an original image wide in a lateral direction and supplying the divided image data to source drivers. <P>SOLUTION: A timing controller 1 divides provided image data into two image data and supplies them to source drivers 5<SB POS="POST">a</SB>and 5<SB POS="POST">b</SB>for each row. The source drivers 5<SB POS="POST">a</SB>and 5<SB POS="POST">b</SB>sequentially take image data from that of the (n+1)th pixel, respectively, where α represents distances from the left end of an effective display area 10<SB POS="POST">a</SB>to the left end of a liquid crystal display panel 3<SB POS="POST">a</SB>itself; β represents a width of one pixel; and n represents an integer with a raised-up value of α/β or an integer with a cut-down value of α/β. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
