<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder cosmetic having antibacterial property with a sufficient effect of inhibiting growth of microorganisms such as mold, yeast, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, without using parabens. <P>SOLUTION: A powder cosmetic excellent in antibacterial property is obtained by compounding a mixture composed of cinnamomum zeylanicum bark oil, syzygium aromaticum leaf oil, lemongrass leaf oil, garcinia cambogia fruit extract, coconut fruit oil and thymus vulgaris oil, with a powder of sodium chloride.
