<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary response device, control method, and computer program capable of suppressing an increase in the load on a distribution server.SOLUTION: A primary response device of an embodiment includes a communication unit and a control unit. The communication unit communicates with a plurality of terminals and a distribution server that distributes data. The control unit which controls the communication unit so as to relay the communication between the distribution server and the plurality of terminals performs the following: integrating requests for identical data out of the requests for data which are transmitted from the plurality of terminals to the distribution server, into a representative request; controlling the communication unit so as to transmit data obtained by the representative request to each of the terminals having transmitted the requests for the identical data; and controlling the communication unit so as to retransmit the representative request to the distribution server if the data acquisition by the representative request fails.</p> |
