<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing nano carbon powder using induced thermal plasma. According to the present invention, high purity nano carbon powder can be obtained by a method of forming plasma with plasma source gas using induced thermal plasma equipment, pyrolizing raw materials by means of bringing into contact with high temperature plasma, and supplying rapid-cooling gas to nano carbon generated from the pyrolized raw materials from an upper portion of a reaction pipe and cooling the nano carbon. According to the present invention, reaction is completed within a short period of time by being performed at high temperature using induced thermal plasma, and impurities are not generated therefrom. Therefore, the method of the present invention does not require a post-heat treatment and is carried out in a continuous process. Thus the process can be simplified. In addition, the physical properties of nano carbon can be easily controlled as a growth rate of nano carbon can be adjusted by controlling a cooling rate in accordance with a supply flow rate of the rapid-cooling gas.</p> |
