The present invention relates to a sensor node, a server, a wireless sensor network system including the same, and an operating method thereof. According to the present invention, residual energy data of a sensor node and average residual energy data of the overall sensor node are compared to control an activation mode of the sensor node, and overlapped sensing data of the sensor node are controlled to improve energy efficiency of the sensor node. A wireless sensor network system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a sensor node for generating sensing data and residual energy data, and transmitting the sensing data and the residual energy data to a sink node; the sink node for transmitting, to a server. the sensing data and the residual energy data transmitted from the sensor node; and the server for receiving the sensing data and the residual energy data of the sensor node from the sink node, determining an operation mode of the sensor mode by using the residual energy data of the received sensor node, and generating a control message about the determined operation mode.
