Abstract pl 61NIa derived peptides for prophylaxis and therapy of HPV associated tumors and other p 1 6 INK4a expressing tumors Described are particular fragments of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p16 capable of increasing IFN-y secretion of T cells or inducing proliferation of T cells and the use of said fragments for immunizing an individual against HPV associated or other p1 6 K4 expressing carcinomas, preferably advanced carcinomas.
