The present invention relates to a cylindrical membrane tank comprising: a primary barrier having a cylindrical shape to be arranged in a longitudinal direction of a hull; an insulation member having a predetermined thickness to be arranged on an outer side of the primary barrier to surround a circumference of the primary barrier; and an outer plate arranged on the outer side of the insulation member to cover the circumference of the insulation member. Therefore, the membrane tank can be separated from the hull of a ship as the membrane of the ship has a cylindrical shape.
