<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of easily setting insertion/removal control for an infrared shielding filter for an optical path of an imaging optical system from an external device through a network.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an optical filter drive circuit 24 for inserting or removing an optical filter 4 into or from an optical path of an imaging optical system 2; a communication circuit 14 for receiving an adjustment command from a client device 2000 through an IP network 1500, the adjustment command where a value relating to luminance of a subject can be described, and the value can be separately described for each of when the optical filter 4 is inserted into the optical path and when the optical filter 4 is removed from the optical path; and a CPU 26 for converting the value described in the received adjustment command, and when only one of a value obtained by converting the value described for the insertion in the adjustment command and a value obtained by converting the value described for the removal in the adjustment command is described, automatically determining the other.</p> |
