ELECTROLYTE COMPOSITIONS FOR DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELLS

The present invention relates to electrolyte compositions for improving long-term stability of dye-sensitized solar cells and dye-sensitized solar cells using the same. The electrolyte compositions according to the present invention include mixed an organic solvent mixture having a boiling point of 140°C or higher, thereby having low physical volatility, and becoming gelled after liquid injection due to a small amount of a polymer additive. In addition, the electrolyte compositions have the photoelectric conversion efficiency which is the same level of an existing volatile liquid electrolyte or more, thereby being effectively used for dye-sensitized solar cells.
